I would take the time to write something sweet and profound about the holidays and family and all that stuff, but so many people have done so already and I don't think I'd do it any better than they have.

I found this portrait of my uncle and my grandmother touching. It's not often that the family is together, but when it is, it's a rare treat, even when there's drama and hardship all around.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and a joyous new year!

what can one hand tell you, one arm, one leg?  I'm interested in ink.  What stories does it tell you about someone's life?  What significance does each tattoo play? I think I could do a whole book on just tattoo and body mod.  It would be fascinating to me.
